The Tillandsia Andreana is a wispy air plant with thin, needle-like green leaves that grow from the center and form in a round rosette or ball shape. The tips tend to take on a bright red blush when it comes into bloom. It produces a coral-colored flower.

Native to Venezuela and Colombia, South America, the Tillandsia Andreana is rare in nature and difficult to find in stores. Sensitive to cooler temperatures, be extra cautious with your Tillandsia Andreana by avoiding placing it where drafts from doors and air conditioning vents will hit it.

Your Andreana will require sunny, indirect light and good airflow to thrive. Water it regularly (2-3 days) in s, warm conditions and once a week in periods where it is experiencing cooler, darker light. Allow your plant to dry out completely between waterings. Fertilize once a month.
