The Tillandsia leonamiana air plant is a beautiful species that produces a stunning inflorescence (bloom); it is often confused with Tillandsia recurvifolia and vice versa. Tillandsia recurvifolia has orange flower bracts and white flowers, while Tillandsia leonamiana has light red to deep red, to what some call fuchsia bracts with purple flowers. It tends to be redder in the flower when exposed to more light.
