Banana Croton

The Banana Croton (Codiaeum variegatum) is a bright, tropical houseplant growing in popularity. Croton plants (there are more than 100 varieties) prefer full sun, so it is ideal for a patio, near a window, in a bright room. The amount of sun that the Banana Croton receives correlates directly to the intensity of the color in the leaves. 

In warm, tropical locations, the Banana Croton grows into shrubs, but don't worry, indoors, they stay relatively small and are perfect for adding color to your home or office.

Sold in the original grower's container, we recommend you choose a new pot with good drainage like the Gemstone cylinder from Momma Pots or one of the colorful pots from the Chive Collection. Each have pre-drilled holes to allow for proper drainage and a matching suacer to catche excess water.
