The Ribbon Fern 4" plant (Pteris cretica) is also known as a Cretan Brake Fern and is a popular house fern that can grow up to 20” high and 20” wide at maturity.  This fern displays beautiful ornamental foliage that has a cream-white center and bold green outline. The Brake Fern grows at a moderate pace with leaves that are tall and cascade out.

The Ribbon Fern is a hearty fern that is easier to care for but it prefers moist soil and requires a misting to keep the humidity high. Keep your Button Fern out of direct sunlight in a location with moderate or low light.
