A Note on Tariff-Related Price Increases

To Our Valued Customers,

Beginning April 20, 2025, retail prices at Green Fresh Florals + Plants will increase due to the significant increases in wholesale prices caused by the Trump Administration's tariffs. 

Starting April 5th, the cost of flowers imported from key floral-exporting countries such as Colombia and Ecuador—especially Roses, Carnations, and Chrysanthemums—increased by approximately 10%. These tariffs affect all our flower vendors, including wholesale partners like Mayesh and Mellano & Company, who have announced corresponding 10% price increases for flowers to their retail customers. Many of our best-selling wholesale vendors manufacture their products in China, Vietnam, and the European Union. All of which are facing even more significant tariffs by the Trump Administration. 

Over the last several years, we have absorbed cost increases from our wholesale suppliers, minimum wage increases, and gas prices without passing the costs on to our customers. Unfortunately, we cannot absorb the significant increases created by these new tariffs and stay in business. The result is that Green Fresh Florals + Plants is adjusting our retail prices to reflect these increased costs. We do not take this decision lightly and are committed to maintaining the same exceptional quality, freshness, and service you’ve come to expect. We are monitoring this evolving situation and will share updates as they become available. 

Orders placed before April 20th will be honored at current pricing.
