Peperomia Ginny
Native to Central and South America, the Peperomia Ginny (Peperomia Clusiifolia) is a subtropical plant that adapts easily to the home environment. It has thick, dark leaves with a light cream edging and a slight rosy-pink shade on edge. Also known as the "Rainbow" or "Jelly" Peperomia, the stems are red, providing a beautiful contrast in a dark pot or container.
Drought tolerant, the Peperomia Ginny prefers to be watered thoroughly, then allowed to dry out between waterings. Place your plant where it will receive bright, indirect light. Be sure to choose a pot like the Gemstone cylinder from Momma Pots or a similar colorful pot from the Chive Collection. Both offer containers with drain holes and matching saucers so your peperomia's roots stay dry and do not rot from excess water.
