The Philodendron Birkin is a relatively new hybrid philodendron that has grown in popularity as a houseplant due to its dark heart-shaped green leaves accented with cream pinstripes. Unlike many philodendrons, the Birkin is not a vining variety and grows upright.
The Birken is a thirsty plant and should receive water if the top inch of the soil is dry. Sold in the nursery pot, we strongly recommend purchasing a container with good water drainage like the Gemstone cylinder from Momma Pots. Place your Birken near sunlight, and it will thrive.
