Rose-Painted Calathea

The Rose-Painted Calathea plant (Calathea roseopicta), also known as the 'Medallion Calathea', is a beautiful exotic large-leave prayer plant with pink-centered leaves bordered with deep, dark green colors. Calatheas come in an assortment of colors ranging from green tones to burgundy and silver shades. Originally from Brazil, keep this ornamental beauty away from cold drafts and direct sunlight. It prefers bright but indirect light.

Like all Calathea plants, humidity is important, so be sure to mist and take it into the shower regularly to provide some additional humidity. Keep it in temperatures between 65-75 degrees, and it will thrive. Pet and child safe.
