Calathea Pinstripe

The Calathea Pinstripe (Calathea Ornata) is a tropical plant with long leaves shaped like shields and marked with pink stripes giving it its common name, Pinstripe Calathea. Be sure to place it near a south-facing window where it can get plenty of indirect sunlight. Calatheas thrive in bright, indirect sunlight and humidity. 

Calatheas like moist soil but avoid overwatering. Plant your Pinstripe Calathea in a planter or pot with a drainage hole and saucer to collect excess water like the Gemstone cylinders from Momma Pots or a cylinder from the Decluttered collection. Let your soil dry to touch before watering.
