Our New "Normal"
Deliveries + Curbside Pickups
Beginning May 4, 2020, we opened with a limited operation to provide flowers and plants for delivery or curbside pickup. On May 21, San Diego County Public Health authorized expanded retail, allowing for in-store shopping with restrictions. We opened our retail store for in-person shopping on June 1, and we are following all public health guidelines, including the use of face masks, hand washing, and physical distancing. We appreciate your understanding as we do our best to deliver for you during this very challenging time for all of us. And thank you for supporting small businesses.
Reduced Hours + Staffing
To comply with the public health order limiting operations, our hours have changed. We are open Monday-Saturday from 10 am-4 pm. The reduced operating hours require the cutoff time for same-day deliveries to shift from 2 pm to 1pm daily, Monday-Saturday. We will return to expanded hours and Sunday operations once we are able to do so safely.
Flower + Plant Supply Challenges
The global reach of the pandemic has disrupted our flower and plant supplies, preventing us from offering our full range of product option on a given day. We will update our online store to reflect the supply limitations so you will know if we have cannot offer a particular arrangement or bouquet.
Supply disruption has also impacted our ability to create arrangements with the exact flower combinations as pictured and/or described. In the event this occurs, we will substitute similar blooms, colors and overall style of the ordered arrangement. If it is significant, we will contact you in advance to ensure you approve of the substitution.
We appreciate your patience. We are doing our best to provide the experience and quality you have come to expect from us during this challenging time.
Masks and social distancing are mandatory to shop at our retail store. If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms please stay home. We will welcome you back when you feel healthy.
In order to ensure the safety of our employees and our customers, we have implemented the following health and safety measures:
- mandatory 6 feet physical distancing by all employees and customers unless it is required for a limited time (2-5 minutes) to complete transactions.
- the use of face masks by anyone working onsite or shopping in-store.
- regular and repeated washing of hands and work surfaces by employees to disinfect and prevent viral spread.
- daily health evaluations conducted by each employee to monitor for COVID-19 symptoms.
- use of gloves as an additional barrier, when feasible.
No items are being accepted for return at this time out of concern for the possible spread of the virus. Please do not bring items to the store for return/exchange as they will not be accepted. A replacement or store credit will be provided without the need for the return of the item(s).
